Match Market & Bar combines artisan market, quick-service and to-go dining, and inviting lounge
PHOENIX (Sep. 23, 2020) —Downtown Phoenix’s art-centric FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel, located at 1100 North Central Avenue, which officially reopens on October 1, is thrilled to first unveil its new signature dining, take-out and market concept — Match Market and Bar (MMB) — opening October 12.
“Match Market & Bar is designed to fill a much-needed void in the downtown dining and marketplace scene,” says Tim Sprague of the FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel. “MMB is a warm and inviting spot for neighbors and hotel guests alike to gather for a relaxed, comfortable and casual meal and cold drinks; a convenient place to pick up a unique gift or a specialty ingredient for a recipe; or a late-night pit-stop to grab an in-room or on-the-way-home midnight snack. We’ve recreated our signature concept to perfectly fit the neighborhood and serve the needs of our guests — whether they are business or social travelers.”
MMB’s concept combines an artisan market featuring to-go meals (and wine!), grab-and-go items, curbside service, pantry staples, specialty gifts, quick-service breakfast, lunch and dinner for in-restaurant dining and take-out; and an inviting bar and lounge featuring craft cocktails, an extensive wine list, a sprawling patio and nightly happy hour. MMB carries an exceptionally curated collection of gifts from makers both local and afar; guests can also look forward to trunk shows and pop-up shops. Staff have diligently worked to provide heightened sanitizing and hygiene protocols in accordance with state standards and CDC recommendations for enhanced safety in all areas of the market.
The Market and Kitchen is open from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily; the Espresso Bar is open from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily; and the Bar opens for service at 11:00 a.m. MMB is looking to acquire some local talent for their open front- and back-of-house positions including chefs, line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, front-of-house manager and assistant managers; market staff, retail lead and associates, and baristas.
