FOUND:RE Contemporary and FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel are excited to announce the opening of their new exhibition, “UPCYCLE: RE:cycle. RE:purpose. RE:imagined,” with support provided by Artlink Inc.
This exhibition cycle will present the work of 68 Arizona artists who repurpose objects and materials to create works of art.
The exhibition opens to the public on April 1 and runs through July 23, 2022 with the opening reception on April 1, 6-10pm.
The presented works will include art that employs natural to man-made repurposed materials in the process or in the actual medium of the art and can be viewed throughout the entire ground floor of the FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel. This diverse survey embraces the mindset of sustainability and comes just in time for Earth Day on April 22.
The exhibition will be presented as part of FOUND:RE Contemporary’s regular schedule of rotating exhibitions organized by curator Audrey Galat. The majority of works will be for sale and patrons can preview the prices online at foundrecontemporary.com.
